REWARDS ANALYST

Position Overview & Purpose:

Reward Analyst is responsible for building, managing and translating compensation and rewards data into meaningful insights at AEI group level.

The role ensures data consistency, quality and governance across countries, delivers recurring and ad-hoc reporting, and provides analytical insights to support strategic decision-making related to compensation, pay equity, cost management and rewards effectiveness. The role not only ensures high-quality reporting, but also actively contributes to the evolution and digitalisation of the group compensation and rewards analytics capability.

This position reports to the Group Rewards Business Partner and works closely with local HR teams across the group, Finance and senior stakeholders.

 

What you will deliver (Key Deliverables & Responsibilities):

  • Design, deliver and continuously improve group-level compensation and rewards reporting
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements of EU Pay Transparency Directive including employee right to request information and mandatory annual reporting to authorities
  • Produce recurring reports (e.g. headcounts, pay positioning, gender pay metrics, pay costs, trade unions reporting and Asahi group reports) as well as ad-hoc analyses for senior stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth analyses related to pay competitiveness and positioning, internal equity and pay gaps, people costs, and cross-country HR metrics
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights for HR leadership and senior management
  • Move beyond reporting to interpret data, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and formulate clear insights and recommendations
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance, modernise and digitalise compensation and rewards analytics across AEI
  • Challenge existing reporting models and propose new analytical approaches, that better support decision-making
  • Contribute to the long-term vision for group-wide people and rewards analytics capability, including system evolution and tool harmonisation
  • Stay up to date with market trends in HR analytics, digital reporting and data governance, translating relevant developments into practical initiatives
  • Partner with local HR and Rewards teams across AEI and Asahi Group, acting as a trusted analytical advisor

 

Experience & Qualification Requirements: 

  • University degree
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, including 2+ years in analytics or rewards/compensation analytics, preferably in the international environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect data to business implications.
  • Curiosity and innovation mindset, with the ability to see opportunities beyond current processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, strong experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI or similar) .
  • Solid understanding of compensation and rewards concepts (salary structures, benchmarking, pay equity, incentive principles).
  • Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and translating analysis into clear messages.
