AEI Operations and Excellence Lead

Your Impact

You will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement operations and excellence across the AEI region. You will lead the AEI AGPS team to deliver consistent, high‑quality procurement services while driving alignment between regional priorities and global procurement strategy.

You will strengthen governance, financial stewardship, and performance outcomes across budgets and KPIs, while enabling seamless delivery through close collaboration with RPO partners and AGPS service lines. As a trusted regional leader, you will also spearhead the AEI Procurement Excellence agenda, driving continuous improvement, standardisation, innovation, and sustainable procurement practices in partnership with global and regional stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead AEI AGPS operations and drive execution of procurement strategy and governance
• Represent AGPS and Procurement across regional forums and governance bodies
• Own budgets, KPIs, cost control, and value delivery across the region
• Lead the AEI Procurement Excellence agenda in alignment with Global Procurement Excellence
• Act as primary liaison between AGPS service lines and RPO partners
• Support development and implementation of regional category strategies
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, legislation, and sustainability commitments
• Foster a strong “one team” culture, employee engagement, and capability development

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Business or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Strong professional experience within procurement, category management and process improvement
• Previous experience leading and developing teams
• Proven accountability for delivering outcomes across multiple countries
• Experience with procurement platforms (Ariba strongly preferred)
• International experience within a multinational organisation highly regarded
• Advanced MS Office skills and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
