FINANCE ANALYST

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Analyst to support our Digital team across the AEI region.

You Finance Analyst will support the Finance Business Partner and FP&A by preparing reports and analysis on AEI performance for assigned function(s). In additions they will be involved in all planning processes for AEI assigned function(s). You will also provide support for assigned function(s) business partners in managing their budgets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular performance reports for business partners and support group consolidation activities
  • Analyze financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and variances; identify risks and opportunities to achieve financial targets
  • Evaluate cost drivers and identify optimization opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Prepare and consolidate budgets and periodic forecasts (PFs) at above-market level
  • Review and validate business cases, including appropriate cost treatment (CAPEX vs. OPEX)
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess project costs, benefits, and financial impact, including tracking benefits realization
  • Support budget owners in managing budgets in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Collaborate with Procurement to assess negotiation impacts and ensure correct contractual setups
  • Work closely with Accounting on recharges, depreciation, and asset capitalization
  • Align with Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Accounting on Group Service Recharge models; support tax documentation (e.g., One Pagers)
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and financial training to business partners
  • Continuously improve reporting and processes through automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Provide ongoing support to the Finance Business Partner as required

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, reporting or related.
  • Previous FMCG experience in FPA& or Business support (at least 1-2 years)
  • Solid background in finance with very strong analytical capabilities
  • Very strong computer literacy & excel modeling skills
  • Good attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to constructively engage with business partners
  • Ability to review current processes and ways of working to identify and suggest improvements
  • Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize workload appropriately
  • Fluent in English and any other language is a plus

 

Nice to have:

  • SAP and HFM knowledge are advantageous
  • Qualified or part‑qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA preferred).
  • VBA(Macros) as well as PowerBI or equivalent modern analytics tools is big advantage
