FINANCE PLANNING & ANALYSIS ANALYST

FP&A Analyst

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play an important role in AEI’s financial planning, performance reporting and analysis. 

Working closely with the Finance Business Partner for Commercial Functions and FP&A, you will support key planning processes and provide financial insights to Commercial Growth and Marketing, Corporate Affairs, HR and Finance teams.

You will help ensure effective budget management, deliver reliable financial reporting and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

What will you do?

• Prepare monthly AEI performance reports and commentary for EXCOM and Asahi Group Holdings, providing clear insights into financial performance.
• Coordinate Budget and PF2 planning for regional DME and fixed costs across Marketing and Commercial Growth, Corporate Affairs, HR and Finance teams.
• Prepare AEI financial presentations for Budget, MTP and PF2.
• Consolidate Budget and PF2 submissions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Partner with budget owners to support effective budget management in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Provide regular budget overviews for above-market functions and support ad-hoc budget changes and updates.
• Strengthen the financial understanding of business partners through ongoing support, guidance and training.
• Review reporting and financial processes to identify and implement improvements, including automation, simplification and efficiency gains.
• Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and insights to support the Finance Business Partner for Commercial Functions and FP&A in business decisions.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to simplify everyday tasks and improve efficiency.

What are we looking for?

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Previous experience in FP&A or business support, ideally within FMCG.
• A solid finance background, strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with strong overall digital literacy.
• Experience with VBA/Macros, Power BI or similar analytics and automation tools is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP and HFM is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• An open-minded and curious approach, with an interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency.
