FINANCIAL ANALYST - EMERGING TALENT

Main Purpose of the Role:
This is a junior-level finance development role designed to build a strong pipeline of future finance leaders within Asahi, with the goal of progressing into senior roles over the medium to long term.
To support this growth, the first two years will include three to four rotations across different Finance sub-departments, each lasting between 6 to 12 months. These rotations are tailored to the individual's interests and may include an international assignment if suitable, with the full rotation plan agreed upon at the time of appointment.
Throughout the programme, you will receive day-to-day guidance from your rotational line manager to gradually take on more complex tasks. The overall development is overseen by the AEI Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, who supports both functional development (such as CIMA or ACCA accreditation) and leadership development initiatives.
More specifically, you will be trusted to:
- Deliver assigned tasks and support on project work, taking full ownership of responsibilities under the guidance of line managers.
- Learn and apply key financial processes and tools in day-to-day operations to build hands-on expertise in the field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Identify and propose improvements to existing finance processes and suggests ways to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to the creation, update, and optimization of team processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, gaining exposure to core finance deliverables.
- Assist in problem-solving and issue resolution within the assigned department, escalating where needed.
- Develop an understanding of internal workflows and dependencies between departments across the organisation.
- Execute tasks and projects assigned by managers, demonstrating initiative and commitment to learning.
Do you have what it takes?
- We’re looking for individuals with a strong record of achievement, eager to grow within Asahi, adaptable to change, and motivated to engage with diverse cultures and regions.
- University degree in Finance or Management is required (CEMS-MIM level or equivalent).
- 0–2 years of experience in a financial role within a multinational company.
- Proficiency in English is essential; a second language is desirable.
- Learning agility and leadership potential are key.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- International mobility is a plus.
