Join our team as a Admin Support AR Accountant in Prague! This is internship (20 hours / weekly)
Purpose of the role:
Kick-start your career in finance! The role of the Admin Support AR Accountant is to assist in the efficient management of the company's accounts receivable processes.
This includes tasks such as invoicing and billings, debit and credit notes, maintaining accurate records of post receivables entries, cash applications & remittances.
The Admin Support AR Accountant works under supervision of AR Accountant and supports In-Market Credit Team in analysis of receivables and AR related controls where appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and verify customer invoices based on approved orders and delivery documents.
- Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Apply customer payments and reconcile payments with outstanding invoices.
- Post incoming payments into SAP and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support resolution of payment and invoicing discrepancies under supervision.
- Assist with internal/external audits and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Follow internal controls and comply with AR service level agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Support timely query resolution and contribute to positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth Accounts Receivable operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience with a solid understanding of AR processes.
- Fluent in English and Czech with strong professional communication skills.
- Excel skills are required
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in shared services or working with regional teams in a collaborative environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of finance systems like SAP, Blackline, and Concur is a big advantage.
