Join Our Dynamic Team as an Junior GL Accountant for Hungary in Prague! 
 
Purpose Of The Role 
The role of the Junior GL Accountant is to manage and maintain the organization's financial records – area given into responsibility of Junior GL Accountant.   

This role also involves recording and reconciling financial transactions, analyzing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations related but not limited to Treasury and Inventory accounting.   

 
Responsibilities: 

• Preparing month end journals and schedules 

• Preparing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts 

• Assisting in the preparation of group and statutory accounts 

• Assisting with year-end audit queries 

• Validating supplier and other payments   

• Serve as liaison for our bank provider, maintaining user access rights 

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of GL operations 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 

• 0-2 years of experience in finance shared services or related functions. 

• Experience working within regional teams in a matrix organizational structure is a distinct advantage (experience in a manufacturing environment welcomed) 

• Fluency in English at a professional level is required, and Hungarian is advantage 

• Strong Excel skills, prior SAP/HFM/Blackline or equivalent is an advantage

The key outputs of ABS are to provide accounting services including the summarizing and reporting of financial transactions of a business, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. ABS is also responsible for adhering to multi-jurisdiction financial regulations and reporting requirements, including ensuring compliance with these regulations and accurate and timely reporting to relevant authorities. In addition to this, ABS is to effectively use financial software and systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data security.
