Purpose of the role:

 

The role of the Reporting - Pricing Specialist is to manage and maintain customer pricing structures, rebate agreements, and commercial conditions within the organization.

This role involves administering pricing and discount data in SAP, supporting rebate calculations and settlements, ensuring data accuracy, and acting as a key contact between Finance, Commercial Teams, and other business stakeholders. The Pricing Specialist also supports the General Ledger team by providing accurate pricing and rebate-related information for financial reporting and month-end activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update customer prices, discount structures, and commercial agreements in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage rebate agreements and perform rebate calculations, accruals, settlements, and reconciliations in line with contractual terms.
  • Monitor pricing and rebate master data, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Sales, Commercial, and Finance teams regarding pricing, rebates, and customer agreements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing pricing and rebate-related analyses, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the General Ledger team to ensure accurate accounting treatment of rebates, discounts, and pricing adjustments.
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for audits and internal controls related to pricing and rebate processes.
  • Analyze pricing and rebate data, providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions and improve process efficiency.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements related to pricing, rebates, and commercial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable financial reporting requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or related
  • 2-3  years of experience in finance shared services or related functions.
  • Experience in pricing administration, rebate management, commercial finance, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Experience working within regional teams in a matrix organizational structure is a distinct advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Polish at a professional level is required
  • Advanced Excel skills, prior SAP/HFM or equivalent is an advantage

ABS encompass a broad range of financial activities designed to support businesses in their day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and compliance with regulations. These services are crucial for maintaining financial health, making informed decisions, and achieving the overall financial objectives of the organization.
