Purpose of the role:
The Reporting Team Leader is responsible for leading, coordinating, and continuously improving the organization’s financial reporting activities. The role ensures the delivery of accurate, high‑quality, and IFRS‑compliant financial information in line with group requirements, internal policies, and reporting deadlines.
The role works closely with the RTR Manager, its direct reports and commercial departments, driving standardization and efficiency across reporting processes, and ensures strong governance, controls, and transparency.
Financial Reporting & Closing Oversight
- Lead and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and adherence to reporting calendars.
- Review and approve manual journals, accruals, and accounting adjustments, ensuring appropriate justification and IFRS compliance.
- Oversee the preparation and review of internal financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, flash reports, and other analyses.
- Validate the feasibility of reporting deadlines, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks in close execution.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of group financial reporting packages, in line with the Group’s instructions and consolidation requirements.
- Oversee intercompany accounting activities, including recharges, reconciliations, and counterparty confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, internal accounting policies, and documentation requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by coordinating responses, reviewing documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 5–6 Reporting Specialists and Sr. Reporting Specialists, fostering accountability, competence, and engagement.
- Assess the team’s work agenda and ensure optimal workload distribution across the team.
- Supporting the professional development and succession planning of team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance working environment where team members can operate independently while meeting quality expectations.
Stakeholder Management
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across departments regarding accounting matters, timelines, and reporting outcomes.
- Escalate risks, issues, and deviations proactively, providing clear recommendations and solutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives, focusing on standardization, automation, efficiency, and reduction of manual activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of processes is maintained up to date, promoting consistency and knowledge retention within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- English and Czech on a professional level
- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting. Experience in shared service organization is a plus.
- 3 years of experience supervising or leading a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting matters clearly.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP and exposure to group reporting and consolidation tools (HFM or similar).

ABS encompasses a broad range of financial activities designed to support businesses in their day-to-day financial operations, long-term planning, and compliance with regulations. These services are crucial for maintaining financial health, making informed decisions, and achieving the overall financial objectives of the organization. The key outputs of ABS are to provide accounting services, which include the consolidation of financial transactions of a business and submission to HQ, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. ABS is also responsible for adhering to multi-jurisdiction financial regulations, ensuring compliance with these regulations as well as accurate and timely submission to relevant authorities.
