Functional Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Digital Strategist who will define audience, channel and experience strategies that drive measurable brand and business outcomes across our portfolio. You will translate brand strategy into integrated digital plans that span CRM and lifecycle, websites and UX, organic and paid social, search, retail media and eCommerce, and you will set the test and learn roadmap to continually improve performance.
You will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Media, Data and Tech teams, collaborating with the Senior Data Manager across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to unlock segmentation, personalisation and measurement at scale. You will steward the end to end strategy from discovery and diagnosis through to planning, activation guidance and optimisation, ensuring our digital ecosystem is user centric, compliant and built for growth.
Role Overview
Own the end to end digital strategy for priority brands and markets. You will lead insight gathering, opportunity sizing and strategic planning, define channel roles, audience frameworks, content and connection strategies and the KPIs that matter. You will brief and guide creative and technical partners, shape the martech roadmap with product owners and codify repeatable playbooks we can execute brilliantly.
Main purpose of the job
Translate brand objectives into actionable digital strategies and integrated communication plans across CRM, social, web, ecommerce and media. Orchestrate channel touchpoints based on consumer insights and data to deliver consistent, measurable outcomes. Partner with brand, creative, social, media, data and insights teams to ensure plans are insight-led, consumer-centric and scalable. Support capability building by mentoring two Digital Marketing Executives and creating practical playbooks and tools that improve digital performance across markets.
Accountabilities and deliverables
- Translate brand and campaign objectives into digital audience segmentation plans, using consumer data and market insights to define target profiles and activation opportunities.
- Develop channel strategies across CRM, social, search, web and ecommerce that clarify each channel’s role in the consumer journey, ensuring integration from awareness through conversion
- Design 360 digital communication plans that orchestrate touchpoints across CRM, social, web, ecommerce and media, ensuring consistency and sequencing based on onsumer behavior data.
- Co-create end-to-end consumer journey maps identifying key touchpoints, channel triggers and content opportunities.
- Translate digital strategy into actionable briefs, content calendars and channel asset requirements, ensuring creative execution matches channel objectives
- Collaborate with the Senior Data Manager to operationalise segmentation, propensity and next best action models within Salesforce.
- Define KPIs and reporting dashboards that track campaign effectiveness across channels, providing regular optimisation recommendations
- Plan and track test-and-learn initiatives (e.g. A/B testing across CRM, social, ecommerce) and document outcomes in playbooks that can be reused across markets.
- Guide website and microsite strategy, from requirements gathering to analytics and SEO, ensuring accessibility and responsible, mobile-first design.
- Shape tagging, consent and data capture strategies with Product Owners and Tech.
- Orchestrate integrated plans with brand, media, eCommerce and trade partners, ensuring clarity on objectives, budgets, success criteria and handoffs.
- Write clear briefs and provide strategic stewardship through creative development and activation.
- Shape annual digital plans and budgets with markets, prioritising initiatives with the highest impact and feasibility.
- Track effectiveness, COVI and ROI, and recommend reallocation based on evidence.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, aligning plans, resolving trade offs and sharing progress transparently.
- Create simple playbooks, templates and training that raise digital capability across markets
Qualification criteria
- University degree in marketing, digital media, business, communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6 to 10 years in digital strategy within top tier agency or in‑house environments, working on multi‑market brands.
- Proven experience translating brand strategy into audience, channel and content strategies across CRM, web, social, search and eCommerce.
- Demonstrable experience partnering with data and analytics teams to build measurement frameworks, experimentation roadmaps and actionable insights.
- 3+ years mentoring or managing team members, freelancers or agency partners.
- Advantage, experience in premium lifestyle or regulated categories.
