FX DEALER / CASH MANAGER

We’re now seeking a FX Dealer / Cash Manager to manage all cash and FX related risk activities arising in relation to; foreign currency and interest rate exposures, regional and country cash management, debt portfolio, and day-to-day liquidity requirements

 

Main purpose of the job:

Draw insights from the data and propose action in order to drive performance and analysis of FX, commodities, interest rate and investment markets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage short-term liquidity across the region, ensuring sufficient funding for day-to-day operations and optimal use of available cash
  • Review and challenge entity cash flow forecasts, analyse variances, and provide timely, accurate liquidity insights to senior stakeholders
  • Lead foreign exchange (FX) risk management activities, including reviewing business forecasts, monitoring exposures versus hedges, and executing hedging strategies to reduce currency volatility
  • Support commodity risk management by reviewing forecast exposures, assessing hedge effectiveness, and contributing to strategies that minimise cost of goods volatility
  • Monitor and manage banking counterparty risk, ensuring full compliance with Group Treasury policies
  • Oversee short-term funding activities, including bank credit facilities and intercompany loans
  • Support core treasury transaction flows in line with established policies and internal controls
  • Partner closely with finance teams to improve cash forecasting accuracy and support funding requirements across the business
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc treasury reporting and financial analysis for senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors, Tax, and Group Finance leadership
  • Analyse financial market data and trends to provide actionable insights that support business performance and risk reduction

 

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Front Office Treasury role
  • ACT qualified or studying preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FX, cash management and bank relationships
  • Exposure to commodity risk management and hedge accounting is an advantage
  • Experience with a Treasury Management System (ideally IT2)
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability
  • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
