Key Account Manager – IFT Flagship

 

You like being close to the action. Close to customers, close to decisions, close to where commercial plans either come alive or quietly die on a spreadsheet. This role puts you right there, with full ownership of a prestige portfolio across the South of the UK and the freedom to shape how some of the most recognisable beer brands show up, grow and win in the on-trade.

 

You will take commercial responsibility for a well-established base of IFT customers, many of them London-centric, with others stretching into other major Southern cities. These are accounts where relationships matter, detail counts and long-term thinking beats short-term noise. You’ll spend your time building credibility with buyers and operators, protecting and growing volume, value and brand presence, and ensuring the portfolio stays relevant as customer needs evolve.

 

You will own the P&L end to end, using insight and category thinking to guide every decision you make. Analysing sales data will be second nature to you, but the real value comes from what you do next. Turning trends, risks and opportunities into clear regional action plans that actually land in outlets. You’ll lead commercial conversations around innovation, making sure launches are commercially sound, well executed and genuinely add value for customers.

 

Alongside retaining and growing your existing base, you will keep one eye firmly on what’s next. You’ll identify prospects worth pursuing, open doors through route-to-market relationships and good old-fashioned on-the-ground prospecting, and build tailored commercial and activation solutions that drive rate of sale and visibility. Winning new business will feel like a natural extension of how you already work.

 

Internally, you will be a connector. You’ll collaborate across sales, marketing and the wider business to ensure customer plans are aligned, on brand and commercially smart. Externally, you’ll build a strong network of influential contacts, bringing energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for the category into every interaction.

 

This role suits someone entrepreneurial, commercially sharp and comfortable acting at pace. You’ll enjoy juggling multiple priorities, challenging accepted norms when they no longer serve the goal, and translating insight into action without losing momentum.
