Warehouse Operative – Griffin


Hours: 10am – 6pm (core hours between 6am – 6pm)
Location: Chiswick, West London - W4 2QB
Licence Requirements: Full driving licence + forklift licence (training provided if needed)

 

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our friendly, fast-paced Griffin warehouse team. If you enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same, take pride in doing things right the first time, and thrive in a supportive team environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

 

You’ll play a vital role in making sure our orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time to our ever-growing customer base. Working with a close-knit team, you’ll keep things running smoothly behind the scenes – from handling stock to keeping our warehouse clean, organised, and safe.


What You’ll Do

 

  • Load and unload large pack products efficiently and safely.
  • Prepare kegs, casks, packaged beer, wines, and other products for delivery across our estate.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Team Leader to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Keep all paperwork accurate and compliant.
  • Help resolve any loading issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, vehicles, and PPE to a high standard.
  • Support new processes and ways of working that make our warehouse better every day.
  • Keep stock secure and the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe.


What We’re Looking For

 

  • A proactive, “can-do” team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Safety-conscious, with a keen eye for spotting and reporting issues.
  • Organised, with excellent time management skills.
  • Accurate with paperwork and stock handling.
  • Comfortable with physical work, including heavy lifting and forklift use.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing experience is ideal – but not essential.
  • Forklift licence preferred – but don’t worry, we can train you if you don’t have one.
