Director of Sales – Independent Free Trade

We’re looking for a Director of Sales who can unleash the full potential of our team across the independent free trade market. This isn’t about hitting targets, it’s about building a high-performance culture that empowers people to deliver, innovate, and grow.

 

You’ll lead by example, creating strategies that shape how the function works while coaching and inspiring your team every step of the way. We want someone capable of challenging the norm, influencing across the business, and delivering real functional transformation.

 

You’ll be responsible for our entire UK field sales operations, both on the indirect and direct routes to market. We’re a business aiming for growth in a tough market, but our ambitions are achievable, and we want you to scope out the opportunities within the free trade landscape to help drive that growth within the on trade.

 

You will be someone comfortable delivering through others and will have demonstrated leadership capabilities in your recent career. You will also be acutely familiar with the free trade market and understand the challenges and opportunities that lie within that. However this isn’t the role for someone who has only ever worked in the on trade. We’d like to speak with people who have had cross functional moves or at least had experience in different sales channels to bring new ways of thinking and working into this world to help our growth.

 

Having a strategic mindset will be important to success and within this role you will always have one eye on the future, considering the impact of your team’s actions today on the profitability of the business in the long run.

 

This role can be based anywhere within the UK but you will be required to be in the South East at least two to three days per week, so please consider this when applying.
