About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking expert to lead OT infrastructure and control & automation initiatives across Dreher. This role is key to driving strategic engineering services, including OT cybersecurity, capital project execution, and IT/OT integration, all aligned with brewery needs and functional standards. Your scope will cover all manufacturing-related hardware and software—from SCADA systems and industrial networks to data acquisition tools and historian databases—outside the governance of our digital division.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategically develop Dreher Automation and Control systems and team capabilities to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) within acceptable risk levels.
- Leadership of OT specialist(s) and matrix-leadership of control & automation staff
- Actively participate in AEI Control and Automation forums to support strategic planning and standardized implementation.
- Translate process needs (Brewing, Packaging, Utilities, Warehouse etc.) into automation language and collaborate with suppliers to identify optimal solutions.
- Coordinate asset and incident management activities.
- Optimize the relevant segment of the CAPEX portfolio
- Ensure the security, safety, and reliability of the industrial networks and their interface with IT systems, mitigating risks such as:
- Threats to employee safety
- Regulatory non-compliance
- Loss of confidential or proprietary information
- Financial damage
- Establish and maintain appropriate SLAs with system integrators and hardware/software vendors, service providers
- Define and implement maintenance and calibration standards for all relevant field instruments.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive change management process for all hardware and software modifications in control & automation.
Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in electrical engineering/control & automation or IT.
- Strong technical expertise in control systems, OT networking, and cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG automation processes.
- Proven experience working with contractors and managing investment projects.
- Skilled in preparing feasibility studies and business cases.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Work schedule:
Work takes place Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, with flexible hours. Core working time is from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional availability may be needed. The job is based at 1106 Budapest, Dreher Antal Street 3., with the option to work from home.
