Role Overview:
As a Consumer Insight Specialist, you will play a key role in building business knowledge and driving insight-based decision making across our local markets. You will support the SP&I agenda by delivering robust analyses, actionable consumer & brand insights, and contributing to strategic planning processes.
You will collaborate closely with commercial teams, finance, insights partners, and external agencies to ensure our brand, category, and innovation decisions are grounded in strong data and consumer understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Support the local SP&I team in delivering consistent, insight-driven knowledge across Brand & Consumer areas.
- Provide regular, objective analyses to meet daily needs of Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Management, and Finance teams.
- Contribute to Category Strategy development, supplying insights for portfolio reviews, category structure, market modelling, and strategic scenario planning.
- Support the Innovation agenda by ensuring relevant consumer inputs, action standards, and research tools are used effectively.
- Deliver local B&C insights as part of the 3-Year Mid-Term Planning (MTP) process.
- Implement insight methodologies, research protocols, and best-practice data management within SP&I.
- Support excellence in brand, business, and channel planning (IAP), ensuring insights guide decisions on where to play and how to win.
- Efficiently manage assigned research budgets and ensure high impact of insight projects.
- Collaborate with Corporate Affairs & Sustainability on insight needs for messaging, stakeholder understanding, and category image initiatives.
Requirements (must have):
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Commercial fields, Mathematics, Finance, Sociology, or related areas.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Insights, Market Research, or Data Analysis roles.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting commercial strategy or category development with analytical insights.
- Strong understanding of commercial processes, brand/category dynamics, and business fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience across all phases of insight projects (writing briefs & managing tenders, questionnaire/discussion guide development, data processing & analysis, extracting conclusions and recommendations grounded in objective interpretation)
- Excellent analytical skills and strong data literacy; ability to learn and implement improved methodological approaches.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
