COUNTRY TAPSTER
Role Overview
As a Country Tapster, you will play a key role in driving excellence in draught beer service by developing and executing training programs for the Ursus Breweries Sales Force, with a strong focus on Perfect Serve and Draught Quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent and high-quality implementation of Perfect Serve practices—including proper draught pouring—in selected strategic locations and key brand or company events. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze performance drivers across sales channels, collaborating with internal teams to enhance draught execution and elevate the consumer experience.
Responsabilities
- Prepares the materials, the calendar and approves them with Sr. Channel Manager
- Prepares and delivers reports of training program;
- Monitors and manage the training & travel budgets
- Create a plan and approve it with Sr. Channel Manager; refresh it quarterly to ensure proper execution
- Support Ursus Breweries sales functions (trade representatives, draught technicians, trade marketing) for
- excellent execution in strategic customers
- Participate in key brand/company events as the official Tapste
- Monitors implementation of draught beer quality standards
- Collaborate with draught technicians and regional team (sales & trade marketing) to understand areas of
- improvements
- Generates analysis on draught execution to identify opportunities
- Monitor the implementation of brand in channel activations
- Providing analysis and reporting of allocated budget and recommend modification to increase efficiency
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Basic level of strategic thinking, decision-making, commercial awareness, and negotiation skills.
- Medium-level problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying improvement areas.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently and represent the company at key brand events.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and report on spending efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high service standards.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in the beverage or hospitality industry, preferably with draught systems or bar operations.
- Public speaking or training delivery experience.
- Passion for beer culture and a good understanding of the brewing or serving process.
- Knowledge of trade marketing or sales operations in FMCG.
