Role Overview:

 

The Enabling Functions & CAPEX Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The role acts as the primary finance partner for Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, IT, Procurement, and Operations on CAPEX-related matters.

 

The position is responsible for driving business performance through financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, cost management, and strategic decision support. It owns the company-wide CAPEX process, ensuring robust investment governance, effective project prioritization, and optimal allocation of resources.

 

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the role provides financial insights, supports decision-making, drives accountability, and ensures financial transparency. The position also includes the management and development of one direct report.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Finance Business Partner for HR, Corporate Affairs, IT, Procurement and Operations, supporting business decisions through financial analysis and insights. 
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes for Enabling Functions.
  • Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial policies and controls.
  • Partner with functional leaders to manage costs, improve spending effectiveness and deliver efficiency opportunities.
  • Own the end-to-end CAPEX process, including project evaluation, prioritization, governance and post-investment reviews.
  • Review and challenge business cases to ensure strategic fit, financial viability and value creation.
  • Support senior stakeholders in investment and resource allocation decisions.
  • Lead and develop one direct report.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning, reporting and business partnering processes.

 

 Requirements (must have):

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, preferably within an international FMCG environment.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering.
  • Experience evaluating business cases and investment proposals.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English and Romanian.

 

Requirements (nice to have):

  • Experience with CAPEX management and investment governance.
  • Experience partnering with HR, IT, Procurement, Corporate Affairs or Operations functions.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA or CPA.
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI or similar financial reporting tools.
  • Experience driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate financial insights into business actions.
