Role Overview:
The position leads the development and implementation of the brand activities with support of Senior Brand Manager or Brand Manager and broader commercial teams.
In addition, it assists the Senior BM/ Brand Manager in the implementation of more complex brand projects.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy
- Produces insightful analyses of category drivers.
- Understands the consumer, business and channel role of the brand in the context of the portfolio vision.
Brand Strategy & Planning
- Prepares brand performance analyses to help identify brand opportunities
- Contributes to the development of the brand plan and provides relevant analyses of activities
- Identify SMART goals and supports development of goals and strategy
Brand Positioning and Renovation
- Understands the role of brand positioning and uses it in the development of activities
- Understands the product drivers of brand performance and analyses findings from research
- Demonstrates understanding of the brand vision and communicates it clearly with cross-functional partners
Appling Insights with rigour
- Assists with generating mix element-related insights based on brand, consumer and market understanding
- Understands how insights are applied and uses insights in developing all brand activity briefs and evaluating executions
Understanding how money is made
- Understands the business value chain and where profit is generated in the external industry
- Understands key drivers of brand profit and the impact of brand spend and activities on P&L
- Works with Finance to prepare and reconcile budgets for brand plans and accurately manages day-to-day brand financials
Innovation
- Contributes to development of brand innovation strategy and provides relevant analyses
- Participates in cross-functional project team delivering new product development projects
Brilliant activation, Planning and Execution
- Contributes to the development of the Communication Idea, supporting the brief with relevant consumer and brand understanding
- Works alongside Sales/Trade Marketing to develop excellent activation and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- University degree
- Proficiency in English
- 3 years of professional experience in marketing, brand management, advertising or a related role
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
