Role Overview:

The On Premise Channel Manager is responsible for developing and implementing integrated activation plans for the On Premise & Events channel across the assigned brands. The role directly contributes to the achievement of commercial objectives through national programs, efficient resource management, and close cross-functional collaboration, having a significant impact on volume and profitability.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of integrated channel activation plans for assigned brands
  • Coordinate the implementation of brand activities in the channel, in line with the approved IAP calendar
  • Monitor activation performance (KPIs), identify barriers, and propose corrective actions
  • Manage budgets and resources (ROI, MSE, DME, CAPEX, OPEX, free beer) to achieve short-term objectives
  • Develop and manage national programs for the On Premise & Events channel
  • Support the Senior On Premise Channel Manager in the IAP (Integrated Activity Planning) process
  • Analyze brand performance in the channel and provide insights based on data, market trends, and competition
  • Coordinate cross-functional workshops for brands in the portfolio
  • Manage external agencies (BTL/ATL) from briefing to implementation
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes (CPM, DME governance, responsible communication, procure-to-pay)
  • Work closely with internal teams: Sales, Marketing, Insights, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs

 

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Fluent English; native-level Romanian
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Marketing & Innovation within a multinational company
  • At least 1 year of experience in On Premise, with a strong understanding of channel specifics
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills
  • Solid knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the full marketing mix
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and results-oriented mindset (KPIs, brand performance)

 

 

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a similar Channel or Trade Marketing Manager role
  • Experience managing BTL/ATL agencies
  • Experience managing large budgets (OPEX, CAPEX)
  • Driving license (not mandatory)
  • Exposure to global processes and corporate governance
