Role Overview:

Security Manager develops, implements and coordinates a comprehensive security management plan across the business. Is responsible for ensuring processes and controls are in place for the physical security of people present on Ursus Breweries sites and assets.

Accountable for contractual management and service performance of all security suppliers at national level.

Manage all security responsibilities with relevant legal authorities, audit committees and other entities as required. Conducts annual physical security risk assessments both internally and with our security suppliers. Ensures that KPI's and measures are in place to monitor the performance. Creates and delivers improvement plans with the wider business and service providers where required.

 

Responsibilities:

Security Strategy:

  • Delivers medium term Security Strategic Plan (3-5 years)
  • Yearly revise and adapt security strategy to business needs, local authority compliance and regional security strategy
  • Develops key/strategic security initiatives.
  • Optimizes the security continuously re-balancing optimal business and compliance needs whilst embracing technology to deliver enhanced benefits with longer term efficiencies
  • Coordinates internally and externally the implementation of CAPEX projects in line with the security strategy
  • Advise and provide relevant information related to budgets estimations for CAPEX and OPEX security expenses in all Ursus Breweries locations. Compile and agree budgets and manage within them.

Security Procedures and Plans:

  • Full responsibility for supporting the implementation and upgrading of security, policies and procedures as appropriate to the business context with the representatives from each site
  • Responsible for implementation of Group Security Policies and Procedures. Contribute to the development of Group Security Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure ongoing awareness program on procedures, policies and general good practice
  • Carry regular challenge tests on the security mechanisms manned, mechanic or electronic
  • Responsibility for implementing and reviewing the National Protection Plan for each Ursus Breweries locations security needs
  • Support the operational team to identify and implement best practice in relation to asset management of goods within our own operations and our suppliers (e.g. transportation)

Security Risk Assessment:

  • Yearly evaluate and make appropriate changes to the security procedure and risk assessment matrix.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and effective system of security KPI’s and assessments
  • Maintain Security Incidents Register (electronic database)
  • Investigate and monitor all company security incidents ensuring actions are put in place to mitigate
  • Ensure security operations and systems are aligned and support the IS security protocols
  • Supports reviews/investigations as required

Operational Management:

  • Control and monitor the activities of the outsourced security in coordination with each site representative. Responsible for access control system, CCTV, intruder detection systems, security management system etc.
  • Provide required training for team members, according to company procedures and processes
  • Ensure key and locks management system as per group policy
  • Mange access control and associated systems across all sites including visitors and contractor access protocols
  • Investigating and route cause where required in relation to loss prevention to identify and address gaps in the system
  • Participating in Health & Safety committee and ensuring security processes contributes and promotes wellbeing and a safe workplace 
  • Support implementation of Fire Protection projects planned for each Ursus Brewery site
  • Support implementation from security perspective of food safety projects and procedures
  • Act as main point of contact in relation to the Police Department and other security structures
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security team and IT Team on projects related with security of Ursus Breweries IT systems

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education – University Degree (Technical & Security background preferred);
  • English language – advance level (written & spoken);
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial security role within a large multi-site operation;
  • Knowledge of risk assessment;
  • Ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to self-manage as is a highly autonomous role;
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to engage, work and influence at all levels of the organization;
  • PC Knowledge: advanced MS office.
