PLANT MANUFACTURING DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

🍺 What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a person who wants to undertake a professional path starting from the role of Plant Manufacturing Development Manager for our Bari Plant

The main purpose of the role is the implementation and anchoring of “Asahi Manufacturing Way”, ensuring that the methodology and standard working practices, in alignment with the priorities identified in the local market and the philosophy and principles underlying the system of “Operational Excellence” identified in Asahi.

🧩 Your Activities Will Include

• Be responsible for the development, implementation and sustainability of the Asahi Way operating principles and practices, ensuring understanding and adoption day by day
• Ensure the implementation of a local master plan
• Implement and support the identified ‘pillars’ model
• Be a trainer and coach on a range of skills, Problem Solving and 5S first and foremost
• Support Loss Analysis (LTA) ensuring that there is the right involvement of the organisation and rigorous application of Problem-Solving tools
• Supports all digitization and simplification projects by acting as a local reference for the coordination and implementation of tools/platforms such as Connected Worker Platform (CWP), and other data collectors
• Ensure that the ‘Auditing’ system is recognized as an essential tool for measuring the anchorage of Asahi Way operating practices
• Propose continuous improvement projects can be classified as ‘capex’ or ‘opex’
• Participating, where required, in non-plant activities, liaising with Asahi Group colleagues and proactively acting as Auditor and SME (Subject Matter Expert)
• Ensure that all “Programmes” (MR=Minimum Requirement; GR=General Requirement; BP=Best Practice; WC=World Class) of the Asahi Way are understood by the plant organization by acting as trainer and coach and supporting local improvement plans to reduce gaps

 Who We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree: Engineering or similar, preferably
• Experience almost 3 years in Continuous Improvement  role
• Excellent knowledge in Lean Manufacturing methodology
• Proficiency in English and Italian - written and spoken.
• Capacity to work in cross functional team and manage complex situations;
• Strong determination and results driven
