Corporate Affairs Director

Location: Warsaw

As the Head of Corporate Affairs, you will lead the strategy that shapes how Kompania Piwowarska and Asahi are perceived across Poland. Your work will directly protect and strengthen our licence to operate, build trust among external stakeholders, and safeguard long term business value in a dynamic regulatory, political, and social environment.

This is a role for a senior leader ready to influence national conversations and engage at the highest levels of business and government.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and shape corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability strategy across the entire business. Key areas include:
  • Direct the development and execution of the company’s reputation strategy and formal reputation management processes.
  •  Lead company communication strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels.
  • Build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders aligned with Asahi’s sustainability agenda.
  • Lead the licence to trade strategy to maintain a balanced regulatory environment and minimise business risk.
  • Represent the company in industry forums and legislative engagements; influence national policy discussions.
  • Shape and communicate the sustainable development strategy with transparent reporting.
  • Lead internal communication to support employee engagement and alignment with business strategy.
  • Build organizational capability in stakeholder engagement, sustainability, reputation, and corporate affairs.
  • Act as a key member of the Crisis Management Team, defining communication and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Corporate Affairs team to ensure high performance.
  • Manage functional budgets and ensure compliance with company policies, including commercial communication guidelines.

Experience & skills we’re looking for:

  • Higher education degree and 10–15 years’ experience in Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or Communications in complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong expertise in corporate affairs, public policy, communication, and navigating legislative and political ecosystems.
  • Ability to interpret socio economic, political, and industry trends and translate them into business risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding of the alcohol industry and regulatory issues in Poland and globally.
  • Well-developed network across media, PR, public affairs, and lobbying.
  • Exceptional ability to simplify and communicate complex information with impact;
  • fluent English and Polish
  • Building trust and strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, including government and industry bodies.
  • Influencing executive decision-making and operating effectively in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Inspiring teams, building capability, and translating global/regional strategies into effective local actions.
