SALES DIRECTOR - OFF TRADE - G21

About the role
As OFF Trade Director, you will lead the development and execution of the OFF Trade strategy to ensure long-term business performance and sustainable growth. You will be responsible for defining commercial direction, strengthening key partnerships, and leading high-performing teams to deliver ambitious sales and profitability targets.
You will play a key role in shaping our commercial future, collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Strategy & Insights, and Corporate Affairs while representing the company externally with key stakeholders and partners.
What you will be responsible for

Developing and delivering the long-term OFF Trade strategy aligned with company objectives

Leading sales performance across the OFF Trade channel, including Key Accounts relationships

Driving category strategy, profitability, market share growth, and waste reduction targets

Implementing sales policies, commercial tactics, and strategic decisions

Full ownership of sales planning, budgeting, investments, and cost management

Leading and developing teams of Key Account Managers and field sales teams, ensuring succession planning

Managing operations across 10 depots and a broad product portfolio

Supporting new product and packaging launches to market

Defining pricing and promotional strategies in close cooperation with Marketing, Finance, and Revenue teams

Developing efficient sales processes and contributing to company-wide strategic projects

Monitoring market trends and contributing to marketing strategy development

Supporting and enhancing the company’s reputation on domestic and export markets
Must have
-
University degree in Business, Economics, or Management
-
Minimum 7 years of leadership experience, including people and team management
-
At least 5 years of FMCG commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, or Trade Marketing)

Proven Key Account Management experience

Strong strategic thinking combined with execution excellence

Strong commercial and financial acumen

Experience developing and implementing sales strategies

Fluent English and the local language, Czech/Slovak (spoken and written)
Nice to have

Experience in beverage or highly competitive FMCG categories

Knowledge of trade & brand marketing principles

Understanding of legislation and market regulatory environment

Experience with SAP BW / EBP systems

Project management experience
