Key Purpose Statement

 

As the world’s number one Italian beer with strong growth ambitions in Canada, the Brand Manager, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, works closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Global Brands to translate global brand strategy into locally relevant plans and lead their delivery in the Canadian market.

 

As the day-to-day brand lead, you will act as the custodian of Peroni Nastro Azzurro in Canada, ensuring all activity reflects premium brand standards while contributing to the delivery of ambitious growth targets across key brand and commercial metrics including awareness, volume, distribution, and market share.

 

We have big ambitions for Peroni Nastro Azzurro in Canada and are looking for someone with the drive and experience to take the brand to the next stage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the development and delivery of the annual brand plan (IAP), translating global brand strategies into actionable, locally relevant programs aligned to Canadian market needs
  • Own day-to-day management of the brand plan, ensuring delivery against priorities, timelines and KPIs
  • Lead the development of integrated campaigns across Media, PR, Experiential, and Sponsorships, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and objectives
  • Lead brand agency partners to deliver insight-driven, high-impact campaigns aligned to brand strategy, timelines and budgets
  • Partner with Trade Marketing and Sales to translate brand plans into effective in-market programs that drive distribution, visibility and ROS - ensuring strong alignment between brand priorities and commercial objectives across On and Off Trade
  • Work closely with Global Brand teams to align on strategy and share market insights
  • Manage brand budgets and track performance, ensuring efficient investment and continuous optimization
  • Monitor brand and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to optimize and improve effectiveness
  • Leverage consumer and cultural insights to inform strategy and ensure continued brand relevance
  • Act as the custodian of the brand in Canada, ensuring consistency and quality across all consumer and customer touchpoints

KEY CAPABILITIES REQUIRED

 

  • University degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of brand management experience in FMCG and/or alcoholic beverages, with responsibility for managing a brand at a national level
  • Experience working on global brands is preferred, with the ability to translate brand strategies into locally relevant plans
  • Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, with a focus on media, PR, and upper-funnel brand-building activity
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial teams, including Sales and Trade Marketing; experience with global teams is an asset
  • Experience managing agency partners (creative, media, PR) to deliver campaigns
  • Strong understanding of media and communications planning within the Canadian market
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, delivering initiatives end-to-end
  • Previous beverage or premium brand experience is an asset
  • Bilingual (French & English) candidates preferred
  • Based in Toronto (65 Heward Avenue), with travel within Canada and occasional international travel required
