As our Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax risks, identifying tax opportunities, acting as a business partner, and serving as the right hand to the Senior Tax Manager.

You will also participate in projects, implementation and compliance with statutory obligations, and provide internal tax advisory. Together with the team, you will collaborate on applying tax management solutions across the entire tax agenda portfolio (corporate income tax, VAT, excise duty, withholding taxes, and others) for all countries within the cluster (CZSKGEAT).

What will be your responsibilities?

Providing tax advisory services, reviewing and consulting on contractual relationships, and coordinating tax activities
Monitoring tax legislation and implementing tax changes into company processes
Setting up new tax structures, participating in projects, and acting as a business partner
Tax optimization and tax risk management
Documentation of intra-group transactions for corporate income tax purposes
Supervision of tax returns and filings, monthly tax calculations, and effective tax rate analysis
Reviewing tax processes, their automation, and increasing efficiency with the aim of minimizing manual work and errors
Communication with internal and external auditors and tax advisors, cooperation with the Brewers’ Association and the regional group tax team
Tax audits and communication with tax authorities
Cooperation and mutual backup within the tax team and for the Senior Manager of the Tax Department

What should you have?

University degree in Economics or a related field
Certified Czech Tax Advisor (registered with the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic)
Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation ideally within one of the “Big 4” companies (or similar)
Very good knowledge of Czech (and/or Slovak) and EU tax regulations
Good knowledge of Czech (and/or Slovak) accounting regulations
Advanced level of English
Willingness to further develop, take on new challenges, and work collaboratively in a team
Openness to different solutions, innovative approaches, and new technologies
